Who Am I?

Hey, I’m Jeremy!

I’ve been tutoring organic chemistry non-stop since 2015, back when I took Chem 261 at the University of Alberta. Almost a decade later, I’m still just as passionate about helping students tackle this tough subject and hit their goals — whether that’s med school, grad school, or another big step.

I earned my B.Sc (GPA 3.9) and M.Sc in Chemistry (GPA 4.0) at the UofA. During grad school, I was a lab TA for both Ochem 1 and 2 — honestly, one of the best parts of the degree.

During COVID, I started tutoring full-time at universities across Canada since tutoring became online. I often worked 40+ hours a week, switching between schools, courses, and timezones. I noticed two big things:

Tutoring could be expensive for a lot of students.

Most online content didn’t match what I was seeing in real courses.

That’s what pushed me to start creating my own online courses and YouTube content. Students need affordable resources that actually match the curriculum and help students feel prepared. Hundreds of students have already used my courses to crush their midterms and finals, with the top reviews on the Udemy platform for Organic Chemistry!

These days, I work in biotech at Future Fields in Edmonton, where we genetically modify fruit flies to make proteins used in science and medicine. But I still love tutoring and hearing from students, so if you want to work together or learn more, feel free to reach out!
